Project Description
Seed Architects has recently had the pleasure of collaborating with Amir Khan and the Excellency Group on a stunning, new wedding hall venue located in Bolton. This project has been years in the making, beginning back in 2013 with another company. However, after a series of delays and creative disagreements, Khan decided to bring Seed Architects on board to bring his vision to life and complete the ambitious project.
The result is a truly extraordinary venue that is lavish and unique, even from the outside of the venue. As guests approach the hall, they are greeted by a large water feature, complete with dancing water jets and cascading waterfalls. The use of water feature then continues inside the venue, where glass-covered rivers flow from internal water walls, creating a unique and special surrounding for any wedding.
The wedding hall itself is spread over two levels and has the capacity to accommodate up to 1,200 guests, making it an ideal location for special celebrations. The space surrounding the venue contains landscaping and features a large car park at the rear to provide ample space for guests.
Reflecting on the project, Seed Architects’ Director, Rob Hotchkiss, expressed his satisfaction with the venue’s success. “It’s brilliant to see weddings taking place at the venue and hearing the great reviews from those who’ve attended,” he said. “We still have work to do there is another wedding hall on the second floor, and a shisha lounge with 360-degree views and an external terrace, so watch this space.”
This venue is now widely considered as the best Asian wedding venue in the country with people coming from all over the world to attend the events. Since this project we’ve gone onto form a great relationship with the Excellency Group, working on several other of their new and existing wedding venues around the country.
