Project Description

Seed Architects were appointed to design a brand new Stadium for Swinton Lions Rugby League, given the title “Project Den”.

Swinton Lions have been without a permanent home since the closure of Station Road in 1992. The club and fans have never given up hope of bringing Rugby League back to the town and now Seed Architects have been tasked with making that happen.

The Main stadium will hold 5000 spectators with the option to expand in the future. The site also houses 3 padel courts and 2 5 aside football pitches which can be let out for commercial revenue for the club. At the rear of the site there is also a full size all weather training pitch.

Our Director Rob Hotchkiss is a life long Swinton Fan and for Seed Architects to be involved in bringing his beloved Swinton Home, this is a dream project.
