Project Description
A high-profile extensive refurbishment and re-modelling of a long neglected Grade II listed station building and external spaces, which saw the transformation of the area and bringing the derelict buildings back into use. This project combined a sensitive external restoration with modern internal spaces to be used as Groundwork Wakefield’s offices, retail and business starter units.
Externally, the rail passengers experience has been dramatically improved through quality driven improvements and increased facilities.
